  1. First of all, great work with the Powtoon-tool – you must have put a lot of time and energy into this and you nailed it perfectly.
We like the progress in the video – starting with the reason and motivation for changing the current system, your thoughts about the consideration and of course a detailed presentation about your vision. Along the way you use a lot of buzzwords to describe your ideas and you brilliantly refer to the theories behind. Well done.
Your model also stands out – it is easy to understand, well thought of and very inspiring.
We are well impressed with the outcome of this assignment – not the first time either with your group – very professionally done.

  2. Hi TeachIT!

We are very impressed with the outcome of this video! It shows clearly your vision for the future education in an understandable and informative way. Your model is simple, which makes it easy to understand – which is good! We at Halliday§ agree that tight frames, tests and politically stated objectives should be past and a future with a global focus shows the road ahead. It seems you have a great project on your hands 🙂

  3. I really enjoyed your video. It kept me hooked throughout – not just with the images but also with the commentary that was really thoughtful. The model you chose to develop is very simple and while it is not revolutionary you have a way of describing the connections between the three areas which is very clear and also inspiring. How would you help a fourth grade teacher work with her class to become a future classroom where all these elements are integrated and add value to the learner experience? So my question would be what would you need to do to take this step? I also want to link you to some work that a colleague of mine has done in schools in Sweden. see this for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7Fafg0yhNA

  4. And I am also impressed by the video. Actually it goes for all of the groups but this one is a narrative video, which explains a lot…. Interesting with these 3 levels? Is the class on the microlevel, just as a group of people somewhere in the australian desert? informal groups, or groups, that does not think of them selves, that they are in a global school?

Glocalisation is a term that tries to link global and local. You can say we are both all the time – bodies in time and space – and in a local context, that is also global… You could say that we are all in the middle of a economic and cultural globalisation and we react to this in different ways: Embracing or distancing, kosmopolitans or nationalists…

Whats in the middle? A tree, a lego-brick, a ball? Is that what we have in common? Is that what we share? Is it analogue or digital or both? We needs trees to stop climate change? we need to build together? We need to play together? Do we share a certain humanity? or is it like Gauntlett so, that we share creativity – and the ability to the repeat and change…?

    Just asking…

  5. Hi TeachIT

We think your video is very interesting and well done made. We know how long it can take to make a somehow good SHORT video in PowToon – and for you to have done such a cohesive and professionel looking good video that is 7 MINUTES LONG. WOW 🙂 Impressive!

You address a lot of interesting things in your video. Especially the vision about making the global locally, but how is it going to be done in practice? How will the teachers, pupils and so on do this?
